When I started DataIT with my husband Moe Popal several years ago, my dream was to create an organization that would not only thrive in the business world but would also make a positive impact on the lives of people and the environment around the globe. Today, I am proud to say that we have come a long way in achieving that goal.
At DataIT, we are driven by a passion for green-friendly solutions for e-waste, data center decommissioning and commercial asset removal services. Emerging from Kabul’s tumultuous 1980s, Fausya thrived through adversity. A Life-Altering Bond Finding love with Moe in a refugee camp fueled their quest for a new life in the US. Discovering a Home Flourishing in California, their love became the bedrock of their future achievements. Championing Green IT Recognizing the potential in e-waste recycling and IT asset refurbishment, they launched their venture, initially named and later rebranded to DataIT in 2020. Today, Fausya’s focus extends to raising four boys and meaningful philanthropy, including aiding her homeland through food, medical support, and shelter provisions.
